In the scholarly world, publish or perish has become a cliche’. The hallmark of a scholar is their published work. Indeed, one cannot claim to be a scholar unless one’s research has been published for all to see. It is for this reason that JKUAT now requires its postgraduate students to publish their research as a condition for graduation. E-Resources Training for 5th Year Mechanical Engineering Students

The library had a training session on how to search the internet for quality, authoritative and academic content on 28th May 2012. The training was courtesy of an invitation by Dr. Robert Kiplimo who is a lecturer in the department. The fifth year students are in the process of writing their projects. We hope similar sessions will be organized for other classes so that the students get equipped with information search skills which will ultimately improve the quality of their learning.
