ACCESS TO GOOGLE BOOKS

Google books is an interface that helps search and identify books that Google has scanned and made available in digital form. Some of the books are full text while others only give a preview. Once you get to the results page, you can filter the results to show only full text books by clicking on tools. This will give you search options. MSC JKUAT STUDENTS AT KQ PRIDE CENTRE TRAINED ON USE OF E-RESOURCES

The scheduled training workshop on access to e-books and e-journals for JKUAT Msc students at KQ Pride Centre took place on 18th April 2015 at the Centre. The workshop was attended by 47 participants. Dr. Roselyne Mangira, the JKUAT University Librarian gave an overview of the e-resources that JKUAT has subscribed to. She also sensitized participants on the Amazon e-book reader which would help save and manage the downloaded resources.
