JKUAT STUDENTS AT KQ PRIDE CENTRE TRAINED ON USE OF E-RESOURCES

The JKUAT Library in collaboration with KQ Pride Centre conducted a training workshop on the use of e-journals and e-books for the PhD students at the centre on 11th April 2015. The well attended workshop started with welcome remarks from Mr. Allan Mugambi who represented Dr. Gathenya, the Centre’s director who was away on leave. Mr. Mugambi informed the students that JKUAT has a lot of electronic resources which they would be sensitized about. JKUAT LIBRARY HOLDS ITS QUARTERLY LIBRARY MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE (LMC)

The JKUAT Library held its quarterly LMC meeting on 9th and 10th April 2015 in the main campus Library Boardroom. The meeting brings together all the main campus heads of sections and the librarians in charge of JKUAT’s various campuses. One of the objectives of the meeting is to ensure that the JKUAT campuses are mentored by the mother library thus maintaining standardised library services across all our campuses. TRAINING WORKSHOP ON THE USE OF E-RESOURCES FOR JKUAT STUDENTS AT KQ PRIDE CENTRE

The JKUAT Library in collaboration with KQ Pride Centre will be holding a training workshop on the use of e-books and e-journals for the PhD and MSc Students at the Centre on 11th and 18th April 2015 respectively. The program will start at 9.00am. The resource persons will be the University Librarian, Dr Roselyne Mang’ira, Mr. Richard Midigo who is the library’s Systems Librarian and Ms. Miriam Ndungu who heads the Digital Services Section.
