The JKUAT library has won first place in the category of non academic departments at the quarterly ranking of the different departmental websites. The ranking is based on indicators such as accessibility, comprehensiveness and contact information, peer review, unique selling point and use of emerging technologies such as the use of social media. The use of social media and specifically, facebook and twitter has been an exciting development in communicating to our clientele who are largely students. It has proved to be a very useful channel of communicating and receiving feedback from our users. Thanks to our users who have made it very interactive and continue to challenge us to continually improve our services.
