JKUAT library goes live on koha: goodbye to manual system

The JKUAT library is excited to inform our patrons that we have now automated our services. Automated circulation services started with the September 2011 intake. The library informs our clients that they will be required to clear with the library manual system by surrendering all their library cards before being registered in the system. All that will be required for borrowing books will be the student/staff bar identification cards. The staff identification cards will need to be barcoded to enable them use this service. JKUAT library users now have access to 4095 electronic books from SpringerLink. They are accessible at http://www.springerlink.com/books/. Full access is indicated by a green mark.  The subject coverage of the books is Biomedical and Life Sciences, Business and Economics, Chemistry and Materials Science, Computer Science, Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Mathematics and Statistics.
