JKUAT LIBRARY WELCOMES FIRST YEARS

The JKUAT Library carried out orientation for the May intake on 5th May 2016. The students had opportunity to be acquainted to the library and the staff who will be serving them. Without this induction, the students may not fully benefit from the library’s wealth of resources. They were welcomed to the library by Ms Alice Mwanza who is the JKUAT Circulation Librarian. INAUGURATION OF MEMBERS OF SPECIAL NEEDS COMMITTEE OF KLISC  AT TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF KENYA ON 29/04/2016

Members of the Special Needs Committee of the Kenya Library and Information Services Consortium (KLISC) were inaugurated on 29th April 2016 at the Technical University of Kenya (TUK). The Vice Chancellor TUK, Prof Francis Aduol graced the occasion. Dr Roselyne Mang’ira, the JKUAT University Librarian was  appointed as the Chair of the committee and Mr Raymond Ochoggia, the University Librarian of Maseno University as the secretary to the committee. E-RESOURCES TRAINING FOR JKUAT NAKURU CBD CAMPUS

The JKUAT library in collaboration with the management of JKUAT Nakuru CBD Campus organized a two day e-resources training workshop for its students and members of staff on 18th and 19th July 2015. Similar workshops have been carried out in all the JKUAT campuses except Mombasa CBD, Kigali and Arusha Campuses. Plans to conduct the training in the remaining campuses are underway.
