The JKUAT library has subscribed to 31 journal databases and 3 e-books databases through the Kenya Library and Information Services Consortium (KLISC) The library has also subscribed to Springer e-book database outside the consortium package. Free access has been provided to 4 research for life databases. These are AGORA, HINARI, OARE and ARDI. For optimal use of these resources, equipping library users with skills for locating, retrieving, evaluating and using information for problem solving is increasingly being recognized as an integral role of the library. Electronic Information Resources Training for JKUAT Kitale Campus

The JKUAT library will be conducting training on the use of e-books and e-journals at our Kitale Campus on 29th and 30th March 2014. The target group is JKUAT students and staff. The objectives of the training are: i) Create awareness of available electronic information resources ii) Equip participants with information search skills iii) Create awareness of JKUAT Library online services iv) Introduce users to Ez proxy (off campus access to electronic resources) You are all welcome!!
