E-RESOURCES TRAINING FOR JKUAT NAKURU CBD CAMPUS

The JKUAT library in collaboration with the management of JKUAT Nakuru CBD Campus organized a two day e-resources training workshop for its students and members of staff on 18th and 19th July 2015. Similar workshops have been carried out in all the JKUAT campuses except Mombasa CBD, Kigali and Arusha Campuses. Plans to conduct the training in the remaining campuses are underway. CHANGE OF ACCESS DETAILS FOR EMERALD JOURNAL DATABASES

Please note that the access information for Emerald has changed. Previously, we were accessing the Emerald journals using a username and password when off the campus network. When accessing within the JKUAT campus network, the access was automatic ie you were not required to log in using any password. Access within JKUAT network  will continue to be automatic. For access to Emerald when off campus, you will now be required to go through the off campus link on http://vpn.jkuat.ac.ke/login The link is also available on the JKUAT Library Website under Off Campus Access to E-resources…. TRAINING WORKSHOP ON THE USE OF E-RESOURCES FOR JKUAT STUDENTS AT KQ PRIDE CENTRE

The JKUAT Library in collaboration with KQ Pride Centre will be holding a training workshop on the use of e-books and e-journals for the PhD and MSc Students at the Centre on 11th and 18th April 2015 respectively. The program will start at 9.00am. The resource persons will be the University Librarian, Dr Roselyne Mang’ira, Mr. Richard Midigo who is the library’s Systems Librarian and Ms. Miriam Ndungu who heads the Digital Services Section.
