The JKUAT board of postgraduate studies (BPS) offers 122 Msc and PhD degree programs in 95 disciplines. in addition 16 postgraduate diploma are offered by JKUAT and its affiliate institutions. Before you apply, you need to make sure that you’ve contacted the Department, Institute or Center offering the degree program that will meet your training and future career goals, and you need to determine what type or the mode of study you intend undertake whether full time, part time of ODEL.
All application-support materials required by the BPS Graduate School should be physically availed to the BPS admission section through the departmental and the dean of School for onward processing. These may include the application from, copies of academic transcripts, and receipt for the application fee. Based on the guidelines provided by your program(s) of interest, you may also submit other supporting documents such as your other academic qualification to support your application. Please note that original testimonials may be required of those applicants who are offered admission and are registering for the courses.. Please do not mail in an official transcript unless you’ve received an offer of admission. All postgraduate students, whether degree or non-degree-seeking, must have completed a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a second class honours upper division prior to beginning postgraduate courses or able to demonstrate clear progression for the courses you are applying for.
