The iODaV Workshop on Open Data will take place on 19th September 2017.
The workshop seeks to build capacity on Open Data for members of the AFRICA –ai- JAPAN subtask forces. Presenters with expertise on topics ranging from Open data policy, Data Citation, Intellectual property, Data Management and Scientific writing will be leading the discussions to create awareness on open data and how it can be integrated into the research process for the benefit of JKUAT and PAUSTI community.
Participants will also be sensitized on the JKUAT Open Research Data (JORD) policy which was approved by Senate, and chart out mechanisms and resources to implement the policy.
All members of the iODaV Sub-Taskforce and two representatives from other sub-taskforces, including PAUSTI are invited to the workshop.
The venue will be iPIC Center, JKUAT, from 8:30 am to 5pm
