On April 19th, 2018, the AFRICA-ai-JAPAN Office received a courtesy visit from the Japan Machinery Center for Trade and Investment, Mitsubishi Corporation and Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation.
Japan Machinery Center for Trade and Investment is one of the supporting consortium for the Project.
AFRICA-ai-JAPAN Project gave them a tour to the innovation Prototyping and Integrated Centre (iPIC) Display corner of JKUAT outputs, Rapid Prototyping and Machining, 3D printing and The Agricultural workshops of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department (ABED). The visitors were exposed to manufacturing technologies from JKUAT, the three versions of the Shujaa tractor, from Department of Biosystems Engineering.
The project exchanged information on the current business situation in Kenya and possible collaboration in the future.
