To many people who interacted with him at the AFRICA-ai-JAPAN Project, Prof. Manabu Tsunoda was a paragon of knowledge, network, ingenuity, and character; all drubbed in a human heart. He touched many with his professional approach to Project management as the Chief Advisor for four years.
As friends and colleagues joined Prof. Tsunoda during his farewell ceremony on Wednesday March, 28, 2018, many could not hide their admiration for the man; who speaker after speaker reiterated, had left an indelible mark on the activities of the project.
Prof. Tsunoda showed that with dedication, teamwork and careful planning, it is possible to transform dream into reality; a fact that is exemplified by the monumental progress of the JKUAT hosted Pan African University Institute for Basic Sciences, Technology and Innovation.
