RUFORUM Board Members’ Visit to the AFRICA-ai-JAPAN Project Office

On October 3rd, 2017, the AFRICA-ai-JAPAN project office received a courtesy visit from the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) members.

The visiting members from left to right; Prof. John M. Wesonga, Dr. Fredah Wanzala, Prof. Romanus Odhiambo (Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs), Ms. Sachiko Oda, Ms. Shoko Isokawa, Prof. Eriabu Lugujjo, Prof. Maviiri John C., Ms. Mai Toda, Prof. Mabel Imbuga (Vice Chancellor, JKUAT and Board Chair of RUFORUM, JKUAT), Prof. Adipala Ekwamu (Executive Secretary of RUFORUM), Prof. Manabu Tsunoda, Prof. John A. Akec (University of Juba, South Sudan), Prof. Shinjiro Shiomi and Prof. Daniel N. Sila.

RUFORUM is a consortium of 66 African Universities operating within 26 countries within Africa. The consortium builds Africa’s innovation capacity and engaging in development process and practice.

AFRICA-ai-JAPAN project exchanged information with the RUFORUM and hope to strengthen the linkage between PAU, RUFORUM and the project for possible collaboration in the future.
