Having a student email ensures that you are not left out of any important communication that may be channeled through the student mail list. The student mail is also needed for access to some of the library services such as remote access to all electronic resources in form of books and journals. Usernames and Passwords for off Campus Access

The JKUAT library has installed ez proxy, a software that enables access to all our resources both on and off campus. Previously, some resources such as Springer and ebrary books, JSTOR, Sage, Wiley Blackwell and Taylor and Francis journals could only be accessed within JKUAT main campus. Provision of individual usernames and passwords to our staff and students for the off campus access has proved challenging.
