The University library department has embarked on a mission to strengthen collaboration/partnership and/or linkages with the faculty through the University College Principals and Directors for campuses. This is in line with the Commission of University Education standards and guidelines for university libraries requirement that states, “The library shall be adequately represented in the faculty senate or school boards and university senate or equivalent and other governing bodies” (LIBR/STD/7 clause 6). Ouriginal Antiplagiarism solution at JKUAT

JKUAT Library staff were today treated to a test run and training on Ouriginal antiplagiarism software. the trainees of this initial stages will be expected to serve as Trainers of Trainees (ToTs) for the other researchers. Ouriginal was specifically designed for the European market but later received acceptance in the global market. The training was facilitated by Mr Silas Too (who is also the Marketing Manager for East and Central African Region).
