University Librarian- Dr Roselyne Mang’ira
The University librarian provides leadership in the management, organization, procurement, preservation and conservation for
operation and utilization of library services and maintain high professional standards in line with the strategic objectives of the university. In addition the position serves as primary advocate of the library and chief fiscal officer of the library budget.
Deputy University Librarian ( Administration and Bibliographic services)- Mr Jamleck Ngugi
He plays the role of deputizing University Librarian in providing leadership in the administration and management of the university library. Also he plans and coordinates activities for the Library administration and technical services (acquisition and bibliographic control of information resources). In addition, he coordinates preservation and conservation of library materials, overseeing library information systems and handling professional matters relating to campus libraries to support research and teaching in the university.
Deputy University Librarian (Instruction and Information Services)- Ms Caroline Kimuna
She plays the role of deputizing University Librarian in planning and coordinating activities for the Library instruction and information services in order to achieve maximum utilization of library resources and services to meet the strategic objectives of the university. Further she coordinates training on access and location of information resources for use; populating institutional repository (IR); verification of theses and provision of reference services. In addition, She Coordinates the departmental performance contracting.
