JKUAT Library orients new students

Ms. Miriam Ndungu takes a section of students through the digital section of the Library

The JKUAT Library welcomed new undergraduate students on 12th May 2015. The students were taken on a library tour of the various service sections that will be useful in

their studies.

A similar program targeting the JKUAT post graduate students is scheduled for 13th May 2015. Of particular interest to the postgraduate students will be the introduction to the electronic journals and books accessible to them at their convenience. This is made possible through our off campus Access platform. Close collaboration between JKUAT Library and the ICT directorate enabled the implementation of Ez Proxy which is a software that facilitates remote access to electronic resources. The link to the proxy is accessible on the library website under Off-Campus Access to E-Resources.

The library is committed to ensuring that all our students have all the necessary information for their learning and research. We wish all new students a successful time academic year!
